Once again I am late to (almost) Wordless Wednesday with Focused on the Magic.  But I have a good excuse, working to make a magical vacation for many families in 2018! This week’s topic is Summer, which is perfect timing now that I have finished summer school teaching and have a few short days to actually call my summer vacation.

There is not any place else at Walt Disney World that screams SUMMER than Stormalong Bay even if summer is just a faded memory and the calendar reads November.

Stormalong Bay is located at Disney’s Beach & Yacht Club Resort (my personal favorite Walt Disney World Resort)…

With 3 acres to splash around in…including taking the plunge off a pirate ship (via slide), floating along in a lazy river or simply building sand castles along the sandy beach section there is a place for everyone.  But it you really want to get away from it all…

My favorite place is the quiet pool in the DVC section of the Beach Club.  I could spend hours here reading a book and enjoying the sun in complete peace and tranquility…what summer is all about!
